Birthright Israel recognizes that it may be difficult for some applicants to apply for the trip themselves. However, this application process involves accepting an "electronic waiver" which lawfully and honorably binds the applicant to the terms and conditions of the waiver.
Given that it is illegal for anyone other than the applicant to "accept" the terms and conditions of the "waiver", Birthright Israel insists that all applicants complete their online application themselves.
